Last updated: September 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Uprise website at upriseonline.co.uk and any related pages, feeds and services (together, the "Service"). Uprise is operated by Uprising Group ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
Uprise is an independent media platform covering football, boxing, music, crypto and culture. We publish original articles and feature selected social content and videos.
2. Using the Service
You may read, share and link to our content for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it by unauthorised means, scrape it at scale, or use it to break the law or infringe others' rights.
Some features (such as our newsletter or membership) may require you to provide an email address or account details. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you give us and for keeping any credentials secure.
3. Our content and intellectual property
Except where stated otherwise, the articles, design and branding on the Service are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, republish or exploit our content commercially without our permission.
4. Third-party and embedded content
The Service features content from third parties, including embedded posts and videos from platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. That content belongs to its original creators and is displayed via each platform's official embed, subject to that platform's own terms. We do not claim ownership of it and are not responsible for it.
The Service may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we do not operate.
5. Accuracy and disclaimers
We aim to publish accurate, verified content, but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is complete or current. Nothing on the Service is financial, legal or professional advice.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Changes
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
