Jude Bellingham is already playing like a man with a point to prove, and promoted Málaga had absolutely no answer for it at the Bernabéu on Sunday. Real Madrid made it nine points from nine with a 4-0 demolition of the newly promoted side, and if you needed any more convincing that Los Blancos are building real momentum in La Liga this season, the fact they had it done and dusted inside half an hour should do the job. ## Bellingham Runs the Show The opener said everything. Nineteen minutes in, Bellingham picked up a loose ball near the edge of the area, glided past three defenders like they weren't there, and fired low beneath goalkeeper Alfonso Herrero. It was the kind of goal that makes you put your drink down. Seven minutes later it was 2-0, and Herrero was having a nightmare. Mbappé's effort forced the keeper into a palm-out, Bellingham headed the rebound towards goal, and as Herrero and a teammate clattered into each other trying to clear, the ball went in. An own goal, officially, but Bellingham's fingerprints were all over it. Kylian Mbappé then got his name on the scoresheet properly in the 30th minute, meeting Trent Alexander-Arnold's cross with a clean volley from the centre of the box. Three-nil, before half-time, against a side making their top-flight return. The contest was dead. Substitute Arda Güler rounded things off in added time, starting and finishing a slick move, feeding Vinícius Júnior before tapping in the return pass. Tidy. The Bernabéu got its goal celebration to send them home happy. Madrid sit two points clear of Atlético and Alavés, with Barcelona, fourth on six points, hosting Rayo Vallecano on Monday with a game in hand. It's early, but the gap could easily grow before the week is out. Martin Baturina opened the scoring after 17 minutes, meeting a clever pass from Assane Diao who had burned past Mathías Olivera on the right. Rasmus Højlund equalised for Napoli on the half-hour, drilling low into the far corner, but Como were back in front just four minutes later. André-Frank Zambo Anguissa underhit a pass back in his own box, Baturina nicked it, and Tasos Douvikas, Como's top scorer last season, was there to finish. Elsewhere, Hakan Calhanoglu's first-time strike from the edge of the box after nine minutes was enough for Inter to beat Cagliari 1-0 and keep their title defence on track. Curtis Jones came off the bench in the second half to make his Inter debut, though the champions made hard work of it late on as Cagliari threatened to nick something. In Ligue 1, Monaco went top after a 2-0 win over Marseille, Paris Brunner netting in each half. ## Our Take Madrid look ruthless, and Bellingham looks back to his very best.
